I started painting and sketching as a child, I was especially drawn to nature and portraiture.
Creating art is very therapeutic for me, my work involves the healing and renewing aspects of nature as well as the sense of place that we all share.
I am especially fascinated with the reclaiming by nature of the materials that we choose to build with.
Where I live in the Northeastern United States, there are many hulking, rusting
monuments to another age that are being taken back by a force that never rests.
Recently, A selection of my work was chosen for inclusion in the juried 2008 AREA ARTIST SHOW at the Albright Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, New York.
The meet the Artists Reception was on Friday, April 25 Clifton Hall, Albright Knox Art Gallery.
